If the item is received damaged
We make every effort to prevent shipping damages. Simply REFUSE the shipment if your package appears damaged when you receive it. If the shipping company has left and you realize that your package(s) is damaged, immediately contact Customer Service at 847-983-4761. After receiving your package, you have 24 hours to contact customer service. All damaged exchanges must be shipped back in double boxes, one being the manufacturer's box and the other marked with the RMA number. This is accompanied by a note explaining why the product is being returned, in the original merchandise box. Exchanges are only possible for the same model.
If the product is damaged,
We provide an easy-follow return policy for defective items for our cherished customers. Within 30 days of your product delivery, eligible defective products may be exchanged. Only the same model will be substituted for damaged goods. All included materials, such as but not limited to warranty cards, manuals, and accessories, must be returned with defective products. This includes the original box and packaging as well as all the included materials. The UPC label needs to be secured. We reserve the right to charge for missing materials.
Note: Misused or improperly configured products will not be considered defective. Please contact us within 72 hours if you received a defective transformer. The defective transformer will be exchanged for the same model only, provided it is returned in the same condition as received.
You must make an RMA request to handle a defective return or exchange. A Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) is necessary for all exchanges and returns. Customer Service will provide this information. Exchanges and returns must be double-boxed (the manufacturer's box must be placed inside a shipping box), with the RMA number clearly visible on the outer box and a note in the original merchandise box outlining the problem.
If you don't like or don't want the item
If you're unhappy with your purchase, you have 30 days from the receipt date to exchange it or return it for a refund (after obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization Number). (Less Shipping & Handling Charges. Restocking fees* may apply). All returned goods must be in their original factory packaging, free of damage. They must include all original warranty cards, manuals, accessories, UPC labels, and other included materials.
A Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) is necessary for all returns and exchanges. Returns without RMA#s will not be accepted. To obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number, contact Customer Service at 847-983-7461. Returns and exchanges must be double-boxed (the manufacturer's box must be placed inside a shipping box), with the RMA number prominently displayed on the outer box and a note explaining why the item is being returned. Special Ordered Products are NOT refundable. Registered performance plans don't accept returns or exchanges.
Please Note:
Free Shipping
If your order was shipped for free or at a promotional shipping rate, you will incur the actual "to and from" UPS/Freight charges upon returning the merchandise. You may contact us for actual shipping rates for your order.
Refused and Undeliverable Packages
You will have to pay the full shipping cost both ways if you refuse your package. If you ordered a product with free shipping, the full shipping cost will be applied. In addition, if your package is undeliverable due to incorrect information provided by you the purchaser, or any other reason that is not the fault of LiteFuze, the full shipping charge must be paid by the buyer. Restocking fees will also apply if a special order item or large order is refused on delivery.
Restocking Fees
If the order is returned within 30 days there will be no restocking fees. Post 30 days there will be a 20% restocking fee for missing materials if the return does not include all original parts and accessories. This is because the return is missing the UPC label, or not double-boxed.
Why Charge a Restocking Fee?
The item must be sold as an open box item with missing parts if it lacks the manufacturer's parts or accessories. It is therefore necessary to charge a restocking fee.
